1st Annual EHS Band Mattress Fundraiser
On Saturday, October 22nd we are hosting our 1st Annual Mattress Fundraiser Sale from 10-5pm in the Commons at the HS. Please start spreading the word to everybody you talk to that we are having this great event. We need the entire community to know we are having this sale so we can sell as many mattresses as possible and raise money we are in great need of. I really appreciate your help with this so we can make it a huge success. 9/13/16 - Welcome Back!
With our first full week done, we are rolling back into the swing of things! Last night the EHS Cruiser Pep Band performed for the Cruisers as we beat Clover Park 48-6!
BAND INSTRUMENT RENTAL NIGHT
Monday September 19th, will be our annual Instrument rental night. Music and Arts will be in the EMS commons selling instrument accessories and renting instruments to the beginning 6th graders. This is our "one-stop-shop" for everything band related. Middle school students will be able to pick up there band book for the year.
Hope you have all had restful and relaxing summers! But the summer is coming to a close which means it's time to start preparing for football season!
This year we will be holding a 3-hour Cruiser Band Camp to prepare for our first football game on September 9th. The band camp will be held on September 2nd from 12-3pm. Please bring your instrument, water bottle, and a small snack!
Fourth of July Parade
Listed below is our short rehearsal schedule. Students are asked to wear patriotic attire (red, white, and blue colors). Students should be practicing Uma Thurman and Louie Louie to perform during the parade. Please send your student with a water bottle, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes as we will be spending most of our time marching outside.
All rehearsals will be in the high school band room.
Friday, July 1st - 10:00am-11:00am
Saturday, July 2nd- 10:00am-11:00am
Sunday, July 3rd - 10:00am-11:00am
Monday, July 4th - Parade - Meet in HS band room at 11:30 Parade Starts at 12:00pm
This is an optional event for students going into 8th-12th (and this year's seniors) but I would like to double check who signed up to perform. To verify, please email me if your student(s) will be attending. If you have any more questions, please let me know!

The Western International Band Clinic is a great opportunity for students going into 8th-12th grade. WIBC is from November 18-21, 2016 and is held at the Double Tree Hotel by the SeaTac Airport. Audition material and more information can be found at HERE.
